PROF. DR. HOSAM SHAWKY
Prof. Shawky is a professor of water chemistry and got his B.Sc, M.Sc, and Ph.D. in chemistry from the chemistry department faculty of science-Ain Shams University, Egypt. he represents 30 years experience in the field of water chemistry and water desalination. He is the founder of “Water Desalination & Treatment Unit” at Desert Research Center (DRC). Moreover, he is the founder of “Water Quality Unit” as a part of the Central laboratories of DRC. He is the founder and director of Egyptian Desalination Research Center of Excellence (EDRC).
PROF. DR. DALIA ELSAYED ABOZAID
Dr. Dalia Abozaid is a Professor of Socio-Economic study at Desert Research Center (2019) till now. She holds a Ph.D. degree in socio-economic study from Faculty of agriculture Ain Shams University. Also, she is the director of Technology & Innovation Commercialization Office at Desert Research Center (TICO-DRC) from 2016 till now, and a member in Egypt Water Desalination Alliance. Dr. Moustafa M. Abo El fadl
Prof. Moustafa is a professor of water chemistry and desalination, he is a Head of the hydro-geochemistry department at Desert Research Center (DRC). He has a great experience in the field of water desalination also he participated in the founding of both “Water Quality Unit” as a part of the Central Laboratory of DRC and Egyptian Desalination Research Center (EDRC).
PROF. DR. Abdel-Hameed Mostafa. A. El-Aassar
Dr. Abdel-Hameed El-Aassar is a professor and consultant in the fields of water chemistry and desalination. He received his B.Sc and M.Sc. degrees from the Chemistry dept., Faculty of science, Ain Shams University, and Ph.D. degree from El-Azhar University, he has great experience in the field of reverse osmosis membrane synthesis for water desalination of saline water. moreover he participated in the founding of both “Water Quality Unit” as a part of the Central Laboratory of DRC and Egyptian Desalination Research Center (EDRC).
DR. MOHAMED EL-SAYIED ABDEL- FATAH
Dr. Mohamed is Assistant Professor of water chemistry and desalination at hydro-geochemistry at Desert Research Center. He received his B.S., M.Sc., and Ph.D. Degrees from faculty of Science, Al-Azhar University 2005, 2011 and 2014, respectively. Dr. Ali brings over 15 years of experience in Membrane separation technologies, he has more than 30 published papers in international journal. He is a member of Egypt Desalination Research Center of Excellence (EDRC) and the water desalination alliance.
Dr. HEBA IBRAHIM MOHAMED ISAWI
Dr. Heba is an Associate Prof. at the Water Treatment & Desalination unit, Hydro-geochemistry Dept., Division of Water Resources Desert Research Center. Dr. Isawi’s primary research interests in Water and Wastewater Treatment Technologies, Synthetic Polymers and Materials Chemistry for Water Desalination/Treatment, Membrane separation technologies such as microfiltration, Nanofiltration, Ultrafiltration membranes, Reverses Osmosis, Forward Osmosis, and Membrane distillation.
Dr. Yousra Hafiz Kotp
Dr. Yousra Kotp is the Associate Professor of water chemistry in Desert Research Center, Egypt. She has got on Ph.D. in chemistry at 2013 from Ain Shams University, and her main research area is on the environmental and impacts of engineered nanomaterials. She has a good experience in the preparation and environmental applications of nanotechnology. Evaluation of water quality. Synthesis, preparation, characterization & application of ionic membranes, and other reactive polymers used in the field of water desalination & treatment. Experience in the field of using different nanoparticles for water treatment.
Mohamed Omar
Dr. Mohamad is a researcher at DRC in department of Economic studies, Division of Economic and Social Studies, and got his B.Sc degree from the Faculty of commerce, Cairo university in 1999, M.Sc degree in environmental economy from Institute of Environmental Studies and Research, Ain Shams University, 2009 and Ph.D. degree in environmental economy from Institute of Environmental Studies and Research, Ain Shams University, 2009. Dr. Mohamad is member of many research projects in partnership with other divisions in DRC.
